For Inner Purity you need to wait. Waiting is important. Not only waiting but waiting for the right moment….
You must wait for it to happen on its own. We are always in a hurry. We don’t give time for something to come up. In our hustle and urgency, we interfere and thereby impede things from happening. All things take their time and happen when the time is ripe, and therefore we need to wait.
There are two things that a person does, either, he is so impatient that he wants everything when it has not yet matured, much before the goal. Or many a times he is so engrossed in walking that he passes by his goal and moves ahead, again away from his goal.
Both these approaches do not take you to the goal.
One must be aware and wait for the right moment of happening, then whether it is achieving purity or whether it is meditation or whether it is anything else in the world.
वो पल मेरे सामने खड़ा था जिसका मैने कबसे इंतज़ार किया है। पर फिर वो डर क्यों लगा मुझे जब, अस्तित्व मेरी आँखों में देख रहा था और मैं उनसे आँखें चुरा रही थी।
मैने कोई डर महसूस नहीं किया, ना किसी मसान में, ना किसी सुनसान में, मैंने पहली बार कोई डर महसूस किया है।
उस विराट से आँखें मिलाने की हिम्मत मुझमें क्यों नहीं हो पाई। मैं क्यूं पास जाते हुए भी डर जाती हूं। जैसे दीपक सूरज की आँखों में झांकने से पहले काँप जाता है।
तैयारी तो मेरी अभी अधूरी है, ये मैं भी जानती हूँ। मगर वो फिर भी मुझे अपने प्रकाश से सींच रहे हैं। शायद प्रेम ऐसा ही होता है —अधूरी तैयारी में भी उतर आता है भीतर कुछ कुछ।
