Having a life and having aliveness are two different things. Everybody gets life, but aliveness needs to be developed. All spiritual seeking is a means to develop this aliveness. Foremost we must understand those things that destroy the aliveness. The concepts that we have created towards ourselves, towards others and towards everything in life are the main factor responsible for destroying this aliveness.
It is always wrong to create any concept looking at the external life of a person. It is ok if these concepts are just workable, so that they are used and then after their use, they are dropped. Concepts should be fluid, and they should continue to keep going through understanding and sensitivity and thus transforming.
It is the greatest sin to imprison somebody in some concept. Individual is a change. He is constantly changing but in truth, his own concepts and other people’s concepts about him do not allow him to go through the change.
Do not be so definite about what you see, hear and experience. It is quite possible that whatever you have seen, heard or experienced may turn out to be something entirely different. The individual journey and beliefs of people that are there keep giving different colors to concepts.
True spirituality is to free oneself and others from this prison of concepts. Always allow the concepts to be fluid and respect the aliveness. Aliveness grows by living a life free of concepts…
