First thing Enlightenment is not any achievement, it is already there and you are already enlightened, the only thing required is the dissipation of your false identity which you have been imagining as you. Actually you resist accepting that enlightenment is simply ordinary or it is entering into absolute ordinariness. You cannot become enlightened, because it is the absence of “you” and it is not becoming at all. All becoming is in the time whilst enlightenment is the end of time. Enlightenment is simply a state of total acceptance of what is choice-less and complete acceptance of whatever “is”. Whenever total seeing of your fictitious identity happens, eternal fragrance of enlightenment wells up out of nowhere.
Enlightenment does not provide solutions to every problem; it is simple wisdom which is able to see that solutions are always embedded within the problems. It will put an end to that perpetual conditioning which is responsible for every problem. Enlightenment simply means living through an unbounded and unconditioned nature of your Self. This Self lives in a tremendous beauty of spontaneous responsiveness of life.
Enlightenment is everyone’s intrinsic nature; one has to only remember it. In the company of a true guru this remembrance happens effortlessly or if one is completely open, receptive and ready to allow, enlightenment happens spontaneously, and one sees that all is there is consciousness, one mysterious movement of totality.
